I’ve studied voice and performance for over 30 years. My training includes studies at the University of Toronto Voice Performance Program, the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Roy Hart Theatre in France and the Royal Conservatory of Music.
I am a graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honours BA in English and Psychoanalytic Thought (1997). I also completed 2 years in the University’s School of Music Voice Performance Program. I’m a graduate of the Expressive Arts Therapy (EXAT) training program (International School for Interdisciplinary Studies now called The CREATE Institute, Toronto) with a Diploma in EXAT, 2007. I hold a General Certificate (Voice) from the Roy Hart Theatre (2009) and I am a member of the Ontario Expressive Arts Therapy Association (OEATA).
I’ve worked as a professional singer and performer and I am a member of the CAEA, ACTRA and a past member of AGMA performers’ unions. Some highlight past engagements include performances with R. Murray Schafer’s Patria Music Projects, Thamyris New Music at Emory University, as well as the Canadian Opera Company and New York City Opera choruses.
I offer voice lessons and coaching for singing, acting and public speaking. I offer a holistic approach, helping you to develop and integrate healthy vocal techniques with creative, artistic and personal wellness processes. Currently, voice lessons take place online using Zoom or Google Meets.
